I really dont know if I want to get Dec a Christmas day outfit this year, he got 2 pairs of Chinos, 2 pairs of track bottoms, a pair of jeans and 5 new tops for his birthday and he hasnt worn any of them yet

We are also planning to stay in our jimjams this year so he wont even be getting dressed on Christmas day anyway

Do you think it would be mean of me to get Dan a Christmas day outfit (Dan goes out to friends houses) and not Dec ?? He will probably get an outfit from someone, he usually does but thats not the point.

What would you do ??

I don't thibk it's unfair if it isn't going to be worn, maybe ask him see if he would rather an outfit or his jimjams! xx

No it's not mean at all! If we were spending Christmas at home we'd definitely be in pyjamas all day!! But we're going for Christmas dinner at in-laws so will be going out!
After all Dec won't mind at all he'll be so excited with his presents

I would not bother Hun, we are getting a nice outfit for gabby but oing practical this year as she never wears them more than once

I don't think little boys are that fussy on new clothes. I've just asked my son "Would you rather have a new outfit or a new pair of pjs on christmas day?" and he said "pjs!" You could get him an extra pair of pjs and say they are his outfit for the day. You can never have too many pairs of pj's, lol. xxx

We bought soooo many outfits for the boys last year but they hut wanted to stay in their pjs and who can blame them. This year well buy one or 2 outfits,loads if pjs (like normal) and give them the choice.

Sitting down in new stiff jeans/trousers can't be comfortable when their playing with their newnew toys

He usually ends up with about 3-4 pairs of Jim-jams anyway so he will have plenty to choose from. I dont think he would be fussed with Dan getting clothes and him not, things like that dont really bother him, I think I just feel mean thinking about not getting him any lol

We will be going shopping after Christmas anyway to get him lots of new Hoilday clothes

no def not. he will be happy with his presents in his pjs all day......plus do boys that age care about clothes? i know my 6 yr old doesnt lol
