What would you put in a 2012 time capsule?

We're making a time capsule full of things which would be neat to look at for our son and his kids decades from now, so far we've got:

• 2012 Sears Wishbook
• 2012 Set of coins
• 2012 MLB baseball card set
• 2012 phone book
• Picture of our house/cars
• Passport (will go in when it expires)

(will keep updating as things get added)

Maybe something from the Olympics.

Local newspapers from important days of the year, ie birthdays of family members, xmas etc.

Receipts from things so you can compare prices of things in the future, groceries, cinema tickets, car fuel.

Issues of magazines you read regularly so you can see what was big gossip wise/fashions etc

Have you got any jubilee street party photos or anything like that? Olympics. And news paper clippings of important thngs with the date? Not too sure what else xx

We're in Canada so the Jubilee or Olympics weren't really covered a lot. And Canada didn't win much so there was nothing spectacular in the newspapers around here lol
I SO wish I remembered to ask someone to grab the newspaper on the day he was born but I wasn't thinking so it was missed

over in UK you can go into library & get a copy of newspaper, dont know if thats the same for you?

i agree with reciepts etc, how much it cost to rent/buy a property.

a CD with a mix of music on.
