Whats a lay in to you?!

I'm up at 4.45 on a work day so a lay in for me is normally about 9ish. But if Mike is home then it tends to be later

I work morning shifts normally so have to be at work at 7 so anything past 7 feels like a lay in.

Even on my day off I set my alarm for 8 or 9 because I hate wasting the day sleeping

when i was young and single a lie in would be til 12noon but now a lie in is 8 if jacks here but if hes at my mums a lie in is around 9-10

Sadly a lay in now is anytime after 7am. If we are really lucky then we get up around 8-8:30am but we have to take turns at the weekend.

Amelia is usually up at 6am everyday if not before. We both missed our lay in's this weekend

If it isnt a school day then we dont get up until around 9.30am but if my ex was here and I was getting a lay in or my older two were at my parents and Kaysie got into bed we would get up around 11.30 ish, she loves sleep as much as me.

If OH tends to Ella, then a sleep in is no later than 9am. Ella usually ends up busting in to come and say hi and then I'm fully awake anyway.
OH considers a sleep in to be 11 or 12!

I normally got up that early before LO but at least I slept through the night :/ Now it's 8pm,12am,4am,430am!

Yeah, I start work at 5pm, so during holidays I sleep LOADS. I'll have to start getting up earlier once term starts again :'(

Thought so hun, my OH works nights too (duty manager). He gets home between 8-11am and sleeps til about 4-6pm and he's back in at 9pm He's off tonight and tomorrow though

Now it is around 8am-ish, OH normally takes over for the night feeds, but I get to sleep around 3am. x

Hehe I used to work 7pm-7am and my "lie ins" were 6pm!! Oh those were the days...

I am the early bird 5-6 in the morning and going to bed 12-1, I hate sleeping. I feel like i waste my live if I sleep to long. But that's just me.

I'm up at 6.30a on work days so anything after about 8am is nice. A 'real' lie in is until about 9.30-10.30 ish. Although since i've been preg I can easily sleep for 12h straight or longer.

I'm usually in bed about 10.30 and use the weekends to 'catch up' on sleep that I loose in the week getting up at 6.30
