Whats for Dinner tonight?

Baked ham and funeral potatoes
(Expecting some leftovers, also doing some proper baking for the week)

I might do corned beef stew, I just can't be bothered peeling veg right now

Me too! Specially as I can't do it with a knife either I have to use an actual peeler, some people makes it look so easy, I just take more chunks out of it than anything else or out of my fingers lol

I always do it with a knife, the peelers seem to take me ages!

What is the secret to doing it with a knife? Even my mum rips into me for not being able to do it! I may only be 28 but I have 10 years experience of living alone, surely I'm not that incompetent! Saying that it was only two years ago I threw away my electric tin opener so....

I use a small but sharp knife. My DH says I waste more potato that way but I find it so much quicker

Tacos with beef and salad and refried beans for my men, an Iceland Slimming World meal for me. Hope it isn't too bleh!

I had a hunters chicken melt ciabatta with coleslaw and chips. And a chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert :munch:

Earlier this week when I baked the ham I put back the bones and some meat for the freezer.
After the kids pulling bits here and there from the leftovers we still had quite a bit left. I tossed those in a slow cooker this morning along with some pinto beans.
Its cooled nearly 45 degrees overnight so ham and beans along with some cornbread will be a nice warning meal.

That sounds lovely!

Stew again for us tonight, I made a huge pot last night, it wasn't as nice as normal, I used pre cut packaged veg as opposed to buying fresh and peeling my own, God you can taste the difference! Next time I wont be so lazy
