Me too! Specially as I can't do it with a knife either I have to use an actual peeler, some people makes it look so easy, I just take more chunks out of it than anything else or out of my fingers lol
What is the secret to doing it with a knife? Even my mum rips into me for not being able to do it! I may only be 28 but I have 10 years experience of living alone, surely I'm not that incompetent! Saying that it was only two years ago I threw away my electric tin opener so....
Earlier this week when I baked the ham I put back the bones and some meat for the freezer.
After the kids pulling bits here and there from the leftovers we still had quite a bit left. I tossed those in a slow cooker this morning along with some pinto beans.
Its cooled nearly 45 degrees overnight so ham and beans along with some cornbread will be a nice warning meal.
Stew again for us tonight, I made a huge pot last night, it wasn't as nice as normal, I used pre cut packaged veg as opposed to buying fresh and peeling my own, God you can taste the difference! Next time I wont be so lazy
