Whats for Dinner tonight?

Pork fillets with creamy mustard sauce and mash.

Nick and Dominic had chicken Korma with pilau, Sebby had Franks and Beans and I had a veggie mash.

Spent a little time planning a weeks worth of meals before shopping day.
Do you ladies meal plan or just wing it?

I spend less when I plan so I'm trying to get back to that. COVID had me off for a while.
I don't stick to this meal on this day, rather plan out several meals and then choose from the list what I feel up to preparing that day.
Bless those that can plan for an entire month and stick to it completely. I'm too frazzled for that I think :haha:

We are trying to meal plan ahead yes but cannot manage more than 3 to 4 days. I go shopping Mondays and Thursdays. I do plan the meals for the days in between but since Sebby has a very limited range of what he finds acceptable it is either always the same on rotation or we all end up eating different things like we did tonight.

Yes, I try to just go once a week or else I'll overspend :haha: see a theme here??
I've no clue how others can manage longer between trips, surely they need fresh produce and other goods?
I've been quite lucky in that our SPD kiddos will still try foods and aren't very limiting. I sympathize how difficult preparing nutritious meals would be for a 'picky' eater. Kind of dislike that term. When my son was younger he'd only eat neutral colored foods, he has stretched himself now thankfully...but I definitely feel for those still wrestling with that.

I try to meal plan but it is difficult with my DH's shifts as he eats at weird times so I just tend to sort me and the kids out and then make his meals when he is ready for them or he makes his own if it's at night. I usually end making us all different meals anyway because we all eat different things :dohh:

That sounds like a bother Bev

We had a sweet and spicy pineapple chicken with sticky rice.
It didn't turn out as well as previous times I've made it...still filling though and the little kids love plain rice
