I'd love a roast but likely it'll be something a bit more tedious like spaghetti bolognese as we haven't bought a chicken and don't have any potatoes either.

I just Googled 'roast chicken dinner' out of boredom (I'm at MIL's) and now I am almost crying over the pictures. Maybe OH will be nice and take me to the carvery ...

Everyone is getting one except me.

I am going to nag and guilt trip OH into getting me a carvery ... hell, I'll even take the Hungry Horse. Their roasts are ok, especially if you get the big plate special. Somehow the 'big' part makes it better.
