I was 11 days overdue with James which surprised me as I was 11 days early with Holly!

We didn't get our roast dinner in the end - the oven broke halfway through cooking it

Oh no! Shitty oven!! This happened to me once, trying to do a New Year meal (red cabbage casserole and dauphinoise potatoes) and we had to borrow a neighbour's oven. I hope you got something to eat in the end. At least it wasn't Christmas or something - can you imagine the horror?!

Decided against chili as I'm too scared to go into labour and give myself the runs in front of everyone. Going with relatively safe and definitely easy Chinese instead ...

The potatoes were OK although not up to their usual crispy standard, and we had carrots too. We will have to get a new oven sometime this week and I am not looking forward to the hassle of that!

Chinese sounds like a good option. Enjoy!

Sorry about your oven bev. I remember ours going the day we moved into our house. Was 3 weeks before Christmas 🙈 managed to buy a really cheap one from Currys as we'd used our money moving and the thing is a pain in the ass!! I miss my fan electric oven
