Whats going on??? [TMI]

So, I've been trying to conceive for a couple of years now, and have had absolutely no luck. I also just finally got in to see an OBGYN and had my first pap after several years of avoidance.

The day of my appointment I started faintly bleeding, and had been pretty emotional on and off. Fast forward to today, a little over a week since the appointment, and I've had a little spotting, then stopped, and I'm extremely emotional and my nipples hurt so much! I want to cry when my husbands grabs me.

Anyway, I took a test last week (the morning of my appointment) and it was a big fat negative. Not sure if I should test again. I'm not bleeding, but I would assume that if I were to get lucky the pap woulda hosed me? Or is it still possible. I'm so lost.

I highly doubt the pap would have interfered with conception. Test, it'll quell some doubts

Where you are in your cycle? I have been getting nothing but BFN's (about 12dpo now, expecting AF within the next week) but I also have extremely sensitive/painful nipples and can't help but have high hopes, having never experienced that before. Searching for an answer! Trying not to get my hopes up...
