as some of you know i was worried about a little less movement lately, since thursday i have had some movement and even one big kick today so im less worried but im still a bit worried as i think it less that what i was feeling before, but all the books say u dont start counting til 28 wks so..

aside from this last night i was up for an hour with bad cramps all in my lower back and sides. the best i can explain them was just like aching period pains. they felt like they lasted ages. after my husband massaging my back(after at least 30 min of cramps) i managed to go back to sleep and i didnt wake up with them in the morning.

i just had them again but they only last for two min this time. not like last night.was this the same thing? was it braxon hics im not even 21 wks yet? and isnt that only in your stomach. i looked up bh and it said if its in your back to go to the hospital ,but seen as tho it went away i decided not to go. could it maybe be a uti? when i had the short cramps now i needed to pee and they went away after i did ,about two min later like i said. but last nights ones i didnt need to pee.

im so confused i dont know whether to go to the hospital or not.
does anyone have any advice for me, right now the baby is moving once in a while and i am not in pain.

It's common to get a lot of aches and pains. I'm not really sure what it could be other than growing/stretching pains but the best thing to do if you're worried is to call NHS direct since it's the weekend. :hugs:

u can call the nhs help line i have heard that u can get alot of movement later on in pregnancy and it starts at 20 weeks try not to worry but go to hospital if u are hun x

I don't count mine, if I'm worried I get poking around lol!

its more the cramps that are worrying me, i dunno anymore what to think

:hugs: If you feel like something is wrong or that you should maybe be calling your doctor then I would do it hon. Even if nothing might be wrong when you go in, its always nice to have the peace of mind instead of worrying yourself sick. Plus, If it is an UTI its good to get it treated right away. Hope all is well :hugs:

I agree, if you feel something is not right, give your doctor/midwife a call. That is what they are there for.

I agree with some of the others, you know your body better than anyone, if you feel something is not right give your MW a call, that's what they are there for. :hugs:
