Anyone else's toddler at this stage? It varies from "What's this one?" about spots/moles/freckles to "What's that one?" about pictures in books. He will sit and say it to every single thing on a page. It's kind of sweet but I could do without all my blemishes being pointed out!

ETA Tonight I did it back to him and prodded his cheek and he looked puzzled and said "no spot mumma".

 Aren't kids fun?

Tegan says "whassat" instead. Makes it into a single word (She is a lazy speaker) and asks it about EVERYTHING. She sits in the back of the car as we drive down a country lane, saying
"whassat? ooh cow. Moo"
"whassat!! sheep! baa"
"whassat!!!!!!! car! brrmm brmmm"

Alfie's first proper word was 'wasssat'. He says it all the time. He will point at little stains on the carpet and say 'wassat'. I say 'that's your dinner from last night' and he laughs and goes on to find his next stain lol.

We also get "what's that noise?". That'll be dadda blowing his nose, a plane, a car, the dog barking....

Ruby says 'What's that?' and 'whooooo's that?' all the time!
Sometimes I don't even know what she is pointing at.
