Hi ladies - whats the best double electric for exlusive pumping?
I dont care how much it is..
Just need the best pump
My boobs r always hurting baby is 8weeks old and ive been using a manuel pump it aint easy!!

Thanks

What about hiring a medela symphony? They are supposed to be brilliant but are about £1500 to buy. I know most people that use them, hire them.

I have a medela single electric which is absolutely brilliant.

I use a Medela Pump In Style double breast pump at home and I used a Medela Symphony double breast pump at the hospital when I delivered. I can't tell a difference between the two, both performed very well. I don't know what the best pump is but, I can say that I'm very happy with my Medela Pump In Style double electric pump.

This is what we had. Cost £40 a month at the time. Came within 24hrs by courier. Easy cancellation fee once done with it.

Allowed me to pump for 4mths before id had enough.

Just be careful with it! My contract said i would have to pay £3000 if i broke it!

Excellent machine.

Came ready to go. I bought a few extra sets though as i had trouble keeping the tubes clean.

For me best is avent isis duo - it is gentle and effective, even at 12wks when my son has finished feeding from one of the breast I still get 7oz from other breast and 2oz from the fed side in the morning.

I used medela swing (single pump), medela lactina (hospital grade double) - both the suction was unbearable and caused sore nipples. I was unable to get what I get from isis, but I know a lot of people like medela.

I sold my swing to buy the isis duo, now going to use on number 2 5yrs later.
We have symphony at work but have never used it so can't comment.

I use a Medela Symphony and it is absolutely amazing. I tried other electric pumps with my first son but milk was still scarce and dried up. This time I have a great supply and it's all pumped in about 5 minutes flat, which is heaven when you have to do it at 3am in the morning! Can't recommend it highly enough. x

I'm renting a medela lactina and I love it. They are really expensive (about $800). I've heard great things about the pump n style and they are much cheaper.

I have the pump in style advanced and it's great. Pumping as I type :winkwink: If I were to do it all over though, I'd get the freestyle, because I'd like to move around a bit more. Medela is great for pumps, they know what they're doing!

i have an ameda lactaline...i love it, its all adjustable. Its stored away waiting for the next one, as i rele cant be bothered to express anymore!

I use the Medela Symphony. I think Medela is the best this far. The suctioning is designed to closely mimic baby's suck. I don't have any problems at all with this pump. I didn't buy it. I rent the pump machine and bought the bottles and suction cup.

I have the Medela Pump In Style and am very happy with it! I exclusively pump, so I needed a good one!

Thank you all for responding :) its between the m pump n style and the avent issi ( avent coz we alredy have all the avent bottles ) and i dotn want to rent one xx hmm the choices lol
