Whats the best OPK?

Hi - Don't have time to order off line, but just wanted to know from your experience - what is the best OPK? Since I will be doing the 'timed intercourse' this month, and testing at specialist all month long, I want to be 100% prepared.

Thoughts as to which OPK is most accurate?

We use first response, the line shows the gradual lead up to the peak. It's also one of the most sensitive HPT's so I'm assuming their paper chromotography is just as good at sensing in the OPKs. Has worked great for us anyway.

I prefer the clear blue digital-- it gives you a circle with a smiley face in it if it's + and it will be a blank circle if it's -. There is no trying to decipher lines!! Good luck!!

We've been using generic Walgreens pee sticks...$20 for 20 sticks. The double line indicating surge has been pretty distinct; I've been using them for 4 months now.

A additional question though...I noticed someone here had mentioned testing in the evening and picking up LH; when do you all normally test? I've been testing in the a.m. only so far, under the assumption that it was kind of like a HPT where morning pee will be the strongest. Am I totally off base on that one?

since you need to hold it for 4 hours before the test it's really the only way I can manage that.

Yeah, first morning is the only way I can do that too, otherwise forget it!
