What's the one thing that allowed you to have a natural birth?

In all honestly both times i've been in hospital they haven't looked. It was only a short amount of time so it wasnt a biggy...it would have bothered me if the MW's at home had spoken about pain but they were amazing.

I just couldnt tell when I was contracting at the end I was so knakked, do you have a pain? they would ask...all I could do was whine I dont know.....?!!

LOL I got a bit pathetic at the end.
