Whats the point, I mean really?

My obgyn visits are a waste of my time. His nurse weighs me and does a water sample, he asks if the baby is moving

I get more done at my family doctor! What is the point of the obgyn appointments?!? I don't need to see a specialist to figure out what he does, I can weigh myself instead of waiting for an hour to get in to see him every 2 weeks.

God I hate doctors


(not that I don't think he's doing enough, its just I don't see the point in seeing him until the babys about to come )

ya sorry, next couple of appointments are pretty boring. At 36w they should do the GBS swab, and if they feel you need a growth scan it will be booked then.

They need your weight on record and urine samples to test for signs of pre-eclampsia and GD, nutrition and dehydration. It is standard here.

I agree, it is flippin boring.
