Whats This Pain

Hiya

just a question really,

I had a pain last night that made me stop and think ouch!
it felt just like one of the twin was between my belly buttona nd my ribs, but laying across and strechting fully out, painfull!
is that even possible

midwife does say that my womb is already higher up than expected,
but that could be because one scan got me a week later than what the twelv week scan got me at

Hi Anna. Pains like this are very normal in a twin pregnancy. Mine was completely different to my singleton pregnancies, and I had constant contractions, pelvic pain, sharp stomach pains and generally felt like I was going to give birth every day It was a very frightening experience given my previous preterm birth, but I still made it to 38plus wks hun.

From 20wks I'd recommend resting as much as you can, the extra baby on board makes a real difference. The human body was not designed to carry more than one, and it shows in my experience. My uterus was impossibly stretched, and my body protested Take things easy, and expect the unexpected my sweet xxx
