when and how do you get ready for a night out. ..

just one of those random thoughts that made me want to ask on here


were off out tommorow for a meal/drinks/maybe a club or 2 and im starting to get ready now! im so excited!

ussualy if its a big one the night before i do tan/eyebrows/wash hair/nails etc.

Then (these days ) im rushing to get clothes/make up/hair done as soon as the kids hit the pillow!

so about 6:30 and were off out at 7:45!

first i do make up,then hair ussualy up! then put clothes on.


whats your going out routine?

Nails/fake tan night before and find what to wear and jewellery and handbag so I don't have to stress trying to get all that together on the day!
And slowly on the day, shower and wash hair then get most of my hair done then makeup then finish hair then get dressed very last! Am out on Saturday night so will be sorting myself out starting from tomorrow night, haha xx

Night before I decide what i'm wearing and what bag etc I am taking and hang them up on the back of my door. Paint my nails and experiment makeup if I am trying something new

In the morning I wash my hair, dry it and put my curlers in- I leave them for several hours. They don't bother me.

Then about hour/hour and half before im due to go out I put my makeup on (takes me forever as I am a perfectionist!) and then I get dressed and then the curlers come out!

The day before, tan, nails and sort out outfit, then on the day a long bath with wine shave all that needs shaving Then a shower to wash my hair, do my hair till its nearly done, make up, finish hair and get dressed

I do the same as I do to go to playgroups or to the shops, is that weird?! Not that I ever really go out out at night but if me and OH go on a rare date then it's the same. I usually wash my hair the night before and sleep on it because I get too bored drying my hair with a hair dryer. I don't tan anymore, rarely do my nails, so it's just my usual makeup (foundation, concealer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush), mess around with my hair for a bit and throw some clothes on. If it's somewhere nice there is usually a mad panic of my hair not going right while I beg OH to iron whatever I want to wear.

I always shower,put cream all over and put dressing g on and let my skin get all nice. Then i dry my hair whilst this is happening. Make up after hair and then get dressed at last second as im notorious for spilling things on me before i leave!

I do the the same as any other day but I am adamant my hair and make up is perfect every day I'll hit the shower, head up to my mates, put my hair extensions in and end up half cut before I even get out the door and look like some goth fairy. The joys!

I am so rubbish! I've never had a fake tan and I look like I have transvestite hands if I paint my nails

I get a shower the eve I'm going out, blowdry (this is the only time I ever get the dryer out!), makup on (mascara and eyebrow pencil), dressed usually jeans and boots and a nice top! I'm rubbish at taking a bag so shove everything in my jeans pockets. I have recently bought an nice girly fitted blazer so I feel more dressy up when I go out no instead of wearing a cardie!

I'm out tomorrow so ive had my nails done today, just had a spray tan, will put hair dye on in morning then shower off tan & dye. Doing cluster eyelashes in a bit then tomorrow do my hair makeup and get dressed round friends house with a drink 😁
