when did breastfeeding click for you and become enjoyable?

I found it painful for the first 3 weeks and it really helped me by giving Lucas a bottle of ebm, I don't think id of coped without it. My health visitor told me to wait until 6 weeks but I know id of given up by then, I couldn't wait until then my poor nipples needed some relief !

I think the things that got me through were lanisoh (sp?) nipple shields, expressing and most importantly the love for my baby

After the pain went it was probably another week or so before I actually realised I enjoyed breastfeeding. Now I think I will actually be sad when I stop.

Well done for getting this far, its the best feeling when you come through the other side and you are so close now
