When did everyone start washing baby's clothes?

I will wash the NB and 0-3 around 36 weeks. I will wash them again about 3 weeks later. Diapers I plan to wash at 35 weeks to fully prep them.

I started washing them at 32 weeks due to possibly going into preterm labour, but depending how far I can get I may give them another wash at 37/38 weeks on a fine day so I can get it done that same day x

Left it until maternity leave last time, so 36\37 weeks. Will do the same again this time. They wouldn't seem freshly washed if I did it this early.

I would assume she worked before she had her first til 36/37 weeks? But since has been a SAHM but will do at the same timeframe.

I haven't bought clothes yet, I've been very good at controlling myself this time round

I won't start washing clothes until 35+ weeks though.

With my first son I started on and off around 30 weeks onwards, this time round I want to start now but telling myself to put it off as its silly lol!! I want my new dresser to come so I can put all babies stuff away and get it out of the storage boxes it currently is in xx
