When did you bathe LO

I waited for about 2 weeks to bath Ethan. He was bathed in a bowl in Neo (by me and OH) and reeeeeeeeally hated it! So did we. So stressful. At home, we got everything ready, warmed the room, got the water as warm as we could get away with by the thermometer, warmed the towells, and really relaxed. We popped his feet in first, then lowered his bottom in, splashed water over him and his hair and face and then took him out - he was in about 2 mins. It was more about him having a good experience and not about washing him that first time. He LOVED it. We made constant cooing noises to him too. Now, he loves his baths. He often comes in with me. It's much easier to control how much he's in the water and to wash him.

Emma had her first bath when she was a week old. I was taking cute pictures to remember her week old milestone and I had her naked on fabric curled up on her belly and she ended up peeing all over herself. So she of course started screaming and ended up needing her first bath.
