Hi my lovely ladies, I am almost 32 weeks and i cannot wait for my rowdy boy to drop out from under my ribs! When did you drop with your first and/or subsequent pregnancies? Hugs !

it was about 33 weeks with my first that I started to drop and a defiant drop at 35 weeks. had him at 36+4 weeks but that was an induced labour.

First pregnancy, never dropped but only make it to 31 weeks. For this pregnancy, at 32 weeks he dropped for the first time (heavy feeling, bump lowered, had to pee every 30 minutes, got 'lightning crotch' nerve pain). Then he un-dropped and re-dropped big time at 34+5. I now pee every 5-10 minutes if I'm drinking water, feel very heavy pressure all the time, and feel like there's something lodged between my legs. Eek!

I think mine is getting ready to drop, i have been having twingy sharp pain in my groin area. I have also begun to leak milk in a very mild way! Its all very exciting :)

I didn't drop with either of my pregnancies. Neither fully engaged. With my youngest, when I had my sweep done, he was only 4/5ths engaged (palpable) so not really engaged at all. I was really breathless in my last pregnancy as well and it would just come and go. I'm pretty sure he used to pop down into the pelvis but just pop back out again. With my eldest, I never dropped. I was 3/5ths engaged from 36 weeks and he was still only 3/5ths when I was in labour x

I dropped around 37 weeks with first and 36 weeks with second. My second would randomly drop and go back up starting around 32 weeks though. He's stayed down since 36 weeks though. I feel like my stomach may start dragging on the ground soon

Preggo with our first and he dropped middle of last week. Can finally breathe normally, heartburn is gone and have to pee ALL the time again... Super "lightening crotch" at night.

Mine is starting to drop - the bump is no longer supporting the boobs anyway, lets put it that way! Midwife today had me at 2/5 relation to brim (still not entirely sure what that means!) 36+5 today.

First dropped early cuz I went into labor at 30 weeks.

This one started dropping around 37+3 and is for sure dropped as of last night (38+5). No heartburn hooray!

I have an big increase in pelvic pain and pressure but no dropping yet, so I am afraid of what it will feel like when/if it happens. >_< She is still in my ribs and doc said today that she is still palpable. I always seem to carry high though right till the end.

I still havent dropped, babys head is not one bit engaged, but baby isn't under my ribs at all!! Its strange as I'm 5ft0 so you wouldnt think baby would have so much room. Must be a short little baby like its mom!

God the lightening crotch this time round is so much worse! Takes my breath away several times a day. Baby was 2/5 engaged at 37 weeks, baby engaged last time in the early 30s but stayed 3/5 til labour x

Thank you so much for all the comments! I am torn weather im excited about dropping... one one hand a break from the heartburn would be glorious but the though on even MORE peeing at night and i may not sleep at all ;) And now of all things my husband has started snoring at night! AHHHHHH!

I don't remember dropping at all with my first, but a friend saw me today and said I was carrying a lot lower (am now 37+5) ... my husband looked a bit shocked when he heard that until we reassured him it didn't mean baby would arrive any sooner!

I had a lot of pelvic pain this morning and during the night. Have had much less heartburn and midwife felt the shoulders were right down at my 35 week appointment. Today I woke up and my bump seems smaller- is that another sign of dropping?? The midwife said 3/5 at 35+1 and I'm 35+3 now so might baby have dropped even more in that short space of time? X

I am also seeming abit lower this morning at 34 weeks. My heartburn has subsided some too, i wonder if this is the beginning of the dropping. Also, i woke up last night with a mildly painful BH contraction that scared the hell out of me!

I dropped this week so 33 weeks

I'm not sure because it wasn't a sudden thing... Since around 32 weeks my midwives have been commenting that he's quite low in my pelvis, and at my last appointment (37 weeks) I asked and they confirmed that he's what they'd consider dropped.

He's also been head down since something like 25 weeks... Apparently he likes to be prepared well in advance! ;)
