when did you get 3+ on Clearblue?

I am in a huge panic as I am 5 weeks 2 days pregnant and I am still getting 2-3 on the Clearblue digital conception indicator tests. I really should be getting a 3+ by now shouldn't I? Did anyone not get a 3+ till later and everything be ok? Are they reliable?

I didn't! I really wouldn't use it as a reliable indicator of how far along you are as it works on averages and how diluted your urine is will affect it as well. Unless you have a reason to think there is a problem you are pregnant so just try and relax and don't waste your money on them.

They are not an exact science, they are more like plus or minus five days, and you are well within that so don't worry.

I didnt get a 3+ till I was about 7 weeks, and I agree with the above, there only a guide at best. H & H 9 months to you x

it depends when you ovulated too....im 5 weeks today, and got a 2-3weeks yesterday, but i dont ovulate till about cd20, so thats right for me

i was 5 weeks and 3 days when i got 3+ on clearblue digi test x i took the test 1 week after i got my 1-2 weeks x

popped over from the second trimester in the world of pregnancy forgive me if im wrong but they count you as 4 weeks pregnant even though you concieved 2 weeks ago, so it starts when u last has ur period. so those tests must work on hcg levels therefore would work on conception rather than the last period? maybe this is the reason the weeks are different?

It depends when you ovulated. With Fin we weren't TTC, so I had no idea when I ovulated so had to go by LMP. I only knew when my period was because I was angry at it being Christmas eve lol. Anyway by LMP I didn't get a 3+ until 5+4... and sure enough at my dating scan I was actually put back by 4 days too. Now I have TTC a few months and I know my cycle better. I know I tend to ovulate around day 16 and only have a 12 day luteal phase. I've worked my ticker around that and dead on 4 weeks I moved up from 1-2 to 2-3. But with all that in mind. They can STILL be off. The conception indicator is only 92% accurate xx

I got 3+ at 4 weeks and a day. Which, I actually should have been getting 2-3. I've heard a lot of people don't get 3+ till kinda late. Don't think it's very reliable so I wouldn't worry.

Yes I wondered that too as hcg isn't produced until implantation is it?

Mel S thanks for your reply, I know what you're saying is true but the other half o fmy brain would still be really reassured to see a 3+ so can I just ask when it was you did get a 3+?

I got a 3+ at 4w3d and it made me panic a bit as it should only have been at 2-3 by that point but a lot of people on here reassured me that it isn't exact when you're in the inbetween part (more than 3 weeks pregnant but less than 5) and is only 75% accurate. I wouldn't worry about it, or ask your doc to check your HCG levels if you're really worried x

I just got my 3+ !!!!! I am so obsessed I tested again this evening (UK) and there it was phewwww My husband is going to divorce me if I don't start chilling out, but 2 miscarriages does this to you.. Thanks for your help ladies x

its not a reliable source..i got the same as you, but it does say everyone is different , i didn't do a morning wee either, i wouldn't worry as long as you feel fine and no problems

I gave up trying after going through 2 packs, when I first tested it was 1-2 which was right, the following week it went up to 2 -3 but when I thought it would go up to 3+ it didn't but stayed at 2-3. It made me really worried but then I did some research and realised that they weren't accurate so not to worry. I also had a early scan and although everything was ok they put me back almost a week another reason you can't rely on the indicators.

hi , i wouldnt worry abt the digis not going to 3+ i had a lot of panic with them and dont trust them now . i got 1-2 then 2-3 then back to 1-2 then 3+ then back to 2-3 . put me in a right mess i thought i was lossing my baby but all is fine
