How late did you get a positive on FRER? I'm already 13/14 dpo and I see most people getting positives a lot earlier with this test, so I feel like I'm out as I've only been using FRERs to test.

oooooohh good question!!
I've kind of wondered this for awhile too. The only one I know for sure is an acquaintance who just took one and got her bfp at 6 WEEKS po bc she was in such denial, so I'm not much help

I test when I when I was 11 dpo and then today. Had a bfn the 11dpo and a big fat positive today

I know how you feel :( I got a BFN at 9 DPO in my last pregnancy (ended in MC) but now i'm like 18 DPO and BFN's with FRER, no AF but this is my first cycle after the MC so not getting my hopes up. So depressed.

I am 23-25 dpo and still no AF and I know I am prego but I keep getting BFN! So I just gotta ride it out. :/ Your not out unless the :witch: says so!

Hi

can't answer your question, but I will say that the girlies on here have given me some good advice about tests, and all say the FRER show up bfp's long before IC's and digitals so defo keep testing with FRERs. I'm 17dpo and bfn with IC's:thumbup: Goodluck:flower:

Hi hon, as well as of course your body it depends on the sensitivity of the test..these websites compare different tests...not checked them out for reliability but worth having a look...you can always check the sensitivity of your brand on its website (for some reason there are varying levels for FRER which doesn't help!)

i don;t know if there are any negatives about the very sensitive tests (10miu) - maybe they are more likely to show chemicals and m/c that might not be picked up on a less sensitive test.

Some people can get BFPs at 10DPO - I personally get positives quite late - DS1 and m/c I tested negative around AF due date and didn't test again for a few weeks when I got the BFPs....again there are stats online which show the % of people getting BFP at each DPO....one of the girls jessa_cole posted a thread https://www.babyandbump.com/two-week-wait/746152-youre-not-out-until-witch-shows-up.html
which shows that 12% of women who are pregnant still get BFNs at 21DPO
Hope this helps xx
:dust:

Just found this link as well which seems to be used a lot on BnB (I thinnk that's where the 12% stat above comes from)

I got mine on FRER at 13dpo.

I had taken a couple tests around 8-10dpo and had VERY VERY faint lines, so faint I had to take them out of the casing and hold up the the light to see. I figured they were evaps or just the antibody strip (which I still think they were). I took a CB digi around 10 or 11dpo to double check and it was negative. Then, the evening of 13dpo I took another test and it was DARK positive. So I went from negative to strong positive in only a couple days.

Good luck.
