When did you pack your hospital bag??

32 weeks for babys but mine isnt finished jus need bits and bobs now

Around 33 weeks when I came home from hospital after going into pre-term labout at 32 weeks.

I figured I'd be prepared as she would probably come early, but no, 6 days overdue :dohh:

packed baby's at 31 weeks and mine at 35 weeks. I had early labour signs though but they turned out to be nothing. was going to wait until 36 weeks before doing it though x

My hospital provides a lot of what I will need, but I have travel size shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/lotion, a hairbrush and hair ties, breast pads, nursing bras, PJs, chapstick, comfy clothes to wear home, warm socks, slippers. There might be more in there that I cant remember, lol.

I packed mine at 37 weeks i think.
Make sure u take lots of vests and sleep suits for baby. I had to stay over night and only had 3 of each and Jack kept throwing up blood and some how got wee all up his back so had to keep changing him and I ran out
xx

mines pretty much packed now, but thats as of today
i gave up with bags and its all in a suitcase.
my midwife suggested it was done for 34 weeks.

yey princess its good to see your list, cos mines pretty much exactly the same as yours so i know i cant be missing much

but about the car seat...do you have to bring that in when you go into labour or can you just get someone else to bring it in when i'm ready to go home?
i hadn't planned to take it in with me is all! x

I'm pretty sure I'll start packing around 34 weeks, mainly the essential things, like clothes and stuff. And then when I actually go into early labor I'll finish up the last minute things, like my iPod and my toiletries and what not.

Seeing other peoples lists surprises me at how different hospitals are in what they provide for you! I dont need to bring ANYTHING for baby other then her coming home outfit, a blanket, and her carseat.

I waited until really late to pack my hospital bag, which was fine since I was induced and he was late, but had he come early I would've been screwed! My mentality was, if I went into labor I could pack everything really fast.. so I waited until the day before I was induced! :) Not a very good idea! I would pack yours around 37 weeks. Unless there's a chance your LO could come early!

I'm packing mine now...slowly though lol. Just throwing stuff in there are I go

I'll pack mine around 35-37 weeks, I wont have her early guaranteed I'll have her late so I'm not worried
