Hi ladies im 32 weeks today and im just about to try my first cup of rlt. Is 32 weeks to early?

When did you start?
How many cups do you drink?
Has it worked for you in previous pregnancys

I have no idea whether it actually does anything but I started at 32 weeks with first pregnancy and started with the tea which I quickly stopped as disgusting and went onto the capsules (Holland and Barett had a sale)
My first labour was rubbish but mainly because I had insanely aggressive contractions. Baby was back to back so the contractions were not actually doing anything annoyingly but they were VERY powerful. Midwife remarked on the intensity of them. If my first hadnt been so awkwardly positioned I think she would have flown out.

This pregnancy I forgot about the RLT until about 36 weeks and then started using the capsules again. Will let you know how labour goes hopefully within the next week!

I forgot until last week! I've been having a cup or two max but that's just because I'm generally not a fan of fruity teas! It's my first so I have no idea if it will help any but thought it couldn't hurt to try!

I took the tablets of RLT.

Can't remember how many I took though, sorry!

I think I began taking them around 32 or 33 weeks.

I *think* they worked, my labor and delivery was rather uneventful and easy.
But I think EPO really did the trick.

in 2 weeks of taking it my cervix had a total transformation :haha:

You can start at any time. I started at 29 weeks. I'll be 32 weeks on Sat. I've been drinking 1 cup a day. At 32 weeks, I'll probably up it to 2 cups a day. 3 cup/day at 34 weeks and 4 cups/day at 36 weeks until the end.
It's not a fruity tea. It's made from the leaf of the plant. If your tea is fruity, you're probably drinking raspberry tea and that's the wrong tea.
I drank it last pregnancy starting at 32 weeks and my labor was fast and I only pushed for 5 min, so it seems to me like it worked.

You can start drinking whenever. It's full of vitamins and good stuff, and supposedly strengthens and tones your uterus and pelvic muscles. I started drinking about 30 weeks, one cup a day. And when I hit 32 weeks I starting drinking one in the morning and one at night. I think the further you get in pregnancy, you're supposed to drink more. No more than 4 cups a day I've read though. It's tastes pretty good too

Seity- Mine's definitely Raspberry Leaf tea but it's mixed with something else that gives it a fruity taste (can't remember what it is now and I'm too lazy to get up and go and look!)

ETA I'm on the internet ... It's Apple pieces: https://www.hollandandbarrett.com/p...id=1511&searchterm=raspberry leaf tea&rdcnt=1

Since the begining of pregnancy and I drink 2 cups a day and 1 cup of pregnancy tea which also has RRL in it.

I drank quite a lot of it in my last tri last time. My labour was long and I pushed for 2 and a half hours so don't think it helped in that area for me. My uterus did shrink back very quickly though so it might have helped with that. I will take it this time too, figure it can't hurt!

I wonder if drinking the drink is just as good as taking the pill? I don't know i could drink it :/

I started from 36 weeks. I have up to 4 cups a day, I really like the taste of it. I have the Holland and Barrett one and its mixed in with something else n it's got a nice fruity flavour to it x

I started with 2 cups a day at 34 weeks. 35 weeks - 3 cups and will go to 4 cups at 37 weeks
