when did you stop bleeding?

I'm at 9 weeks now, and have been to my GP who thinks I either have an infection or tissue/placenta left inside me. Just waiting on test results.

Ladies make sure you get checked out if you have prolonged bleeding!

DId you have any other symptoms except prolonged bleeding which led your GP to suspect you may have an infection or tissue left inside you? Thanks x

I have passed a couple of fleshy looking clots, usual symptoms are feeling unwell, fever and sore stomach I don't have any of those!

My GP took a look at my cervix and said it was closed and not inflamed or anything. Hopefully whatever I have is just mild!

With my eldest I bled off and on for three/four weeks. With my second child I bleed for 1.5 weeks, but honestly most of the time was light bleeding. I had very little blood loss during my second section and after. It was nice because it felt really like just a longer period.

Hope the results are fine! I stopped bleeding at 2 months finally! Tho i do get light "period-like" cramps sometimes which I suspect are the uterus still shrinking (well, I hope anyway!

Btw your birth sounds exactly like mine - EMCS after 3 day failed induction.. I bled loads by the end of the induction, huge blood clots.. It was a horrific experience, but the baby is super cute and healthy Well worth all the effort in the world!!!
