Hi all :flower:

Just wondered when you stopped sterilising?

By sterilise I mean after washing them in soapy water and rinsing we put them in the bottle steam steriliser thingy we have and we do this after we've run out of bottles so every day.

But LO is nearly 5 months now, anything and everything goes in her mouth, toys teething chews, my hand, her own feet!

I don't want to expose her to nasty germs though if I stop when I shouldn't xx

A thorough clean in hot soapy water should be enough now. We stopped around this time because she was putting stuff off the floor into her mouth anyway, cats fur etc. so didn't see the point!

We stopped at 8 months once everything was going in her mouth. My friend stopped about 5 n half months I think x

Omar didnt put any toys/things in his mouth when he was a baby :)

We stopped sterilising when he was weaned off his formula after his birthday.

We used to make his breakfast feed the night before, so we sterilised that bottle until we stopped using formula. For his other feeds, we stopped sterilising around 9 months, unless we needed to make it up ahead of time.

Birth. I only ever used hot soapy water.
