When did your AF return?

What the title says really.
We are NTNP as we want a close age gap, but nothing will really happen yet as AF hasn't returned due to EBF(which I won't be stopping). But when did your AF return while EBF, or did they only return when you stopped?

At 8.5 months, when her solid intake started to pick up a bit. They were pretty messed up to begin with though, with random bleeding, stop-start AFs and anything from ridiculously light to horribly heavy flows from month to month. I'm only on my second relatively normal cycle now, and she's 14 months (and still bfing)!

I'm 20 months postpartum and still no AF (and sure hope she won't show her ugly head anytime soon ) DD2 is still nursing 2-3 times during the day and the night since we are still co-sleeping. With DD1 breastfeeding didn't go so well so I combo-fed and got pregnant again when she was 3 months old

Stupid AF!!! it's so weird how differently breastfeeding affects us in terms of delaying our period!!!

And when I tell people I haven't really gotten a period in 3 1/2 years (between pregnancies and breastfeeding), some just want to slap me in the face

Mine returned when LO was 10months. I was still BF through out the day and night and was gutted when it returned (2 days before my wedding!!).

The HV continuously warmed me that I could still fall pregnant even if AF hadn't returned and I was to use another method of contraception since I wasn't.

Last time I stopped by at 7 months. AF returned at nine months. Still be baby number 2. No AF as yet (nearly eight months).

I got mine back a week before my son's 1st birthday. It was such a bummer!

With my son when I exclusively breastfed it was 9 months.

With my daughter there was weirdness. I had a heavy flow at 2 months pp that lasted about 2 days. And then pink stuff when I wipe this month... but other than that, nothing.

Mine were very odd too to start wth pansorie. First was light. Second was ok. Third was light. Fourth was heavy and stop-started for almost a month! Then the last I had was fine, so I'm hoping AF has sorted her stupid self out!

8 months with Thomas, and 9 months with Sophie, but I had taken the morning after pill 2 weeks before that first period with her and I am sure that did something.

I stopped BFing at 6 months and AF came back when she was 10 months. And then again 2 weeks later. Oh, the joys!

I've had some spotting here and there but no af... patiently waiting... Honestly expected her to come by now. Ebf for 5 months now. Each day she doesn't show I will count as a blessing but i always make sure to have a pad on me just in case!!!! Haha my luck I'd be out and about

I stopped express pumping for my DD at the end of July and I got AF in Sept- twice! Once in the beginning of Sept and then 2 weeks later one that lasted longer. I will say that before getting pregnant I had a 4 day period that was so easy but after my DD it was almost 7 days. I had 6 AF's before I got pregnant again.
