When did your AF return?

Such a huge difference from person to person! Hopefully won't be too long for me, although am not looking forward to the actual AF:haha:

6 months pp it returned. Took 2 months to regulate. Normal cycle for 5 months. Then it went away again for 4 months! We are 3 weeks into being fully weaned (weaned at 17 months) and I had a normal period this cycle again finally.

Exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months, and I'm still nursing at 14.5 months. AF returned at 11.5 months pp.

Af came at 5 months even tho I ebf for over 14. And it was terrible when it came, I ended up in the er with a ruptured ovarian cyst!

18 months (still breastfeeding). Took her sweet time...

18 mths. Bfp after first bleed and still breastfeeding.

14 months and fell pregnant on the first pp cycle. I'm hoping it stays away longer this time.

What the title says really.
We are NTNP as we want a close age gap, but nothing will really happen yet as AF hasn't returned due to EBF(which I won't be stopping). But when did your AF return while EBF, or did they only return when you stopped? :flower:
Dd 7 months when stopped breastfeeding at 6.5

Ds 11 weeks exclusively by ing but sleeps better than his sister so probably why!

8 weeks EBF with my first and 6 weeks EBF with my second.

I'm nearly a year ebf and I'm still waiting for AF! Loving it!

My DD is 14 months and it hasn't returned yet..

my lo is nearly 11 months old and i still havent got mine back yet

At 24 months no AF yet with my son, but got pregnant. We night weaned him in hopes of AF returning/ttc but never saw her, haha! So no period here since 2012, how weird is that!

I am at 15months pp no AF exclusively breastfeeding, no pacifier, LO still nurses a TON night and day. I am starting to get antsy I thought for sure AF would be back by now. My OB said weight plays a part (I am naturally thin and am about 10lbs under my normal weight due to nursing) she said her patients that lose weight and are on the thinner side while nursing usually take longer to get AF or even have to wean in order for it to come back:( I think if AF hasn't returned by two I will try to cut out feeds or night wean or something to get it back to TTC but hoping it just comes on its own without any type of weaning. PRAYING I don't have to completely wean in order to get it back bc we're hoping not to have more than a 3 year age gap and not sure I/she will be ready to wean by 2. I guess it all comes down to priority at that point- a sibling for her or extended bf:-/

Than I might start pumping when I decide to wean my youngest so I can keep AF away as long as possible :haha:

@8mos
Had to nite wean baby and cut down on breast feeding time during day...
Since we want to try baby#2, I made the decision...plus baby seem to sleep thru night instead of constantly asking for nipple.
My twin got her period 6mos after stopping breastfeeding. ..
