When did your baby STTN

I put 6-9 months. Lilly started sttn at seven months literally out of nowhere. She went from waking up 3-8 times a night to sttn. She still is except for the odd bad night.

Isabelle was 21 months and we had to do a little sleep training, although she took to it really well.

Joel just started sleeping 12 hours at 10 weeks! I thought it was a myth but nope, early sleepers do exist! Although... We have the 12 week growth spurt and 4 month regression to contend with soon so I'm not going to get too used to it.

My little boy slept 7pm-7am quite consistently from four months and has been a fab sleeper ever since.

Consistently 5 hours at a stretch at 15 months, she does 7pm to midnight virtually every night, then wakes 2-6 times a night from then on.

Still waiting for what I class as STTN (which is sleeping a 10+ hour stretch)

Lol baby! Mine was into toddlerhood at 2 yrs when she STTN properly :) now I have another newborn to keep me up x

Actually STTN? Like from 9pm to 5am? For about a week around 8 weeks/2 weeks adjusted. Now he wakes once during the night, but still sleeps around 5 hours at a time, usually from 9pm to 2 am and 3 am to 8 am, so that is technically still STTN I guess. Although I am never in bed until 12, so it doesn't feel like it to me....

phew! Thank God i wasn't the only one with TWO kids that were into the toddler years before STTN. Was starting to think i was alone or must be doing something wrong

Charlotte used to sleep 7 hour stretches from about 8 weeks old. Now she has decided daytimes are far too interesting and fun to waste time eating. So she now refuses to stay latched for more than 1 minute during the day if we're out (which we are most days) and instead she has been having 3 big feeds a night. Yawn.

I feel I can become a hermit and not leave the house to feed her in a dark room, or go out and have a life but not much sleep. Fun fun. Not sure if this counts as the 4 month sleep regression, but anyway, I'm waking up as many times now as I did when she was a week old!

Not sure how to vote though, as 0-3 months feels like a lie, although if I was responding when Charlotte was 12 weeks old I would have happily voted that! xxx

At 7 weeks, he was sleeping 8.30pm-5am.

At 9 weeks, 8pm-7am and luckily for me, his sleep has only got better and now does 6.30pm-8am. I've been incredibly lucky though. I'm surprised that the results on the poll are showing that most say their LO STTN before 3 months.

Although, I don't understand the 5/6 hours at a time being considered as STTN. No way!

12 weeks, then at 18 weeks it all went tits up, then again at 6 months 80% of the time he slept 8pm-7am. .. until 2 weeks ago when he started 2.5 hour midnight parties! !

Where is the option for never?! My LO has never truly slept through the night, although at 7.5 months he is getting better some nights. His record has been 2 wake ups in 12 hours over night, but most nights he wakes up 4 times.

She slept 7hrs solid, had a feed then back to sleep for 4 hours from 8 weeks old...but i didnt count it as proper STTN til she didnt wake for that 5am feed. She proper slept through just as she was turning 3 months and has since (apart from the occasional night here and there - due to teething or illness) x

I answered 9 months +. He did sleep through 9-6 at eight weeks, but that only lasted a month. Then a few weeks ago out of the blue he started to do 12 hours, after months of waking multiple times.

Kayleigh was sleeping 10pm until 8am at 9 weeks old. So 10 hours a night. i have written in her baby book the first time she slept through technically, (which means not the way i define it) was when she was 10days old and that was from 9pm to 5am.She started waking up once around 5-7 months, and then started STTN again. She's been sleeping 12 hours straight from 7:30-7:30 for a long while now.

I didn't answer the poll as my daughter was sleeping just fine til she was about 9 weeks, and now she is almost 12 weeks and wakes atleast three times a night. So frustrating. Does not matter what time she goes to bed, she will wake 3 hours later.

It's so interesting to see how different it happens for each baby, the 4 month sleep regression seems to hit a lot babies

My first 2.5 years old. My second 3 months. Never did any sleep training with either. Simply different personalities/needs.
