When did your baby STTN

We attempted starting a routine at just 5 weeks. I know very, very early but it worked for us. Once we moved him from his moses basket - which he never slept very well in - to his cot at 5 weeks, we'd put him up to bed awake but sleepy and he would settle himself off to sleep. We have a video baby monitor so could always see him. We stuck with this and he slept through from about 5 weeks until 5am and then just got better and better. By about 10 weeks, I sometimes had to wake him up if we had somewhere to be in the morning as he'd wake at 7am for a bottle then go back to sleep until 9/9.30am. Since then, he has only had me up during the night 2 or 3 times. He really is an amazing sleeper! Hope I don't regret saying that!

I'm pregnant again and am not looking forward to the sleepless nights again because I'm sure I can't be lucky enough to get 2 good sleepers! x

6 1/2 months, He started taking allergy medicine though. He would stay up all night itching, sneezy and have a runny nose!

If you consider STTN as 12-5 then 9-10 weeks. If you consider it all night without waking, 3 months 1 week. They both go from 8pm-8am straight with a few random nights one waking for a bottle and even less often both waking for a bottle. That is rare though...maybe 3-4 times in a month.

Around 10 weeks he was sleeping 12-6, then about 4 months old he would sleep 11-7 and now at 1 he sleeps 8-7. x

My lo will soon be 7 months he goes to bed 7 wakes at 2 ish for milk then sleeps till 5.30-6.00 so not bad! But when he was younger he slept thro a few times but now wakes. I think teething and growth spurts can change things x

We started night routine at 5weeks. My OH just thinks I was mad!

I don't see why having a routine at 5 weeks is mad? My community midwife told me it was essential to start a routine as early as possible and that was when we just got home from hospital, Mind you maybe it is different for twins?

within the first week, with a handful of exceptions. no routine. just bring her to bed when she's looking tired, somewhere between 4-6 pm. I try and nurse her down. if that doesn't work H will rock her down. if that doesn't work ill nurse her again. rinse and repeat till she's asleep. usually doesn't take more than an hour.
