when did your LO's start STTN?

Such a wide range of normal, as you can see!

Yes, its a shame these babies don't read the manual before they arrive! Would be much easier if they all stuck to the same schedule but then where would the fun be in life it was all perfect I suppose :muaha:

Right?!! I hate unpredictability! My LO has helped me become a bit more flexible, that's for sure ;)

6 months but before then it was normally around 1am and 4am for a bottle. He dropped to one bottle at 4 1/2 months. Then at 6 months when solids were established we weaned him off his 5am bottle.

I think my son first started sleeping through really early, at around 5 weeks. Before that, he would wake every 3 hours but could take up to 2 hours to re-settle again. That was in his moses basket. I then decided to co-sleep (we didn't have him in bed with us but his cot was pushed up against our bed with that side down so it was more like an extension of our bed). And we also put him up to bed awake just to see if he would self-settle. I know 5 weeks is far too young to be trying to sleep train but we have a video baby monitor so thought we'd give it a go. If he cried, we would bring him back down with us but he never did. He would go into his cot awake and settle himself off to sleep. Touch wood, he has been a good sleeper ever since. When I say sleeping through, that was until 5am, then it moved to 6am, then 7am and at his best - at about 3 months - he would go to bed at 9.30pm, wake up at 7am for a bottle and then back to sleep until 9am. He's not as good as that now, but he does sleep from 8/8.30pm until around 7am x

When I used CIO at 9 months. It took 3 nights and he's slept through since. Now 10.5 months.

Before this he was waking minimum 3 times a night and would only settle with a measly few sucks of a bottle. Was very frustrating and tiring as he would often wake my 3 year old in the process.

My first was 8 weeks old xx
