When did your periods return after stopping breastfeeding?

I have not been breastfeeding my son for the past few days because I have a driving class to go to for 6 hours and I wanted to make sure he was well attached to the bottle for that day. It hasn't even been three days yet and I've been feeling cramps and back pain for the whole day. I was hoping this was not a sign that aunt flow is on her way, but it seems that may be wrong. For those of you that are no longer breastfeeding, how long after did you start seeing your periods again??

Actually, mine returned 3-4 months after giving birth, and I was still breastfeeding.

Not really sure how quick it returns when you stop altogether.

I wouldnt mind having it come back by 3 to 4 months Ive been enjoying not seeing her around for the past 11 months.. Well, I guess we will just have to wait and see tomorrow!!

Mine returned at 4 weeks pp, and 10 weeks pp. I can't be sure of the first cycle, but I think my second was anovulatory.
