When do I start the count?

Okay good news i finally got my AF...I was scared it was going to be forever before she came..it was a 38 day cycle...i guess that is not to bad since some people go every month with a long cycle...but my question is what day do i count as day 1 of my cycle...

becaues i spotted heavely on Monday..then it stopped...then i spotted heavely agian on Tuesday..then it stopped...then my AF finally came full on Last night...so excited that i can finally look forward to this months TTC...anyway my question is this:

Do i count day one for my cycle on monday when i first started spotting heavy or do i count Wed (last night) when it finally actually came???uhmmm...anyone have any advice on where to start....

Cd 1 is when blood is red and flowing.

CD1 is your first day of red blood in full flow, so wednesday would be CD1 for you.
