When do they tell me my baby's blood group?

We were only told because Will had many blood tests done and we asked. x

I was told before I was discharged as I am rhesus neg xx

Despite him having had surgeries and blood transfusions I have absolutely no idea what Findlay's blood group is :dohh:

All i know is that im A negative but he's positive as i had to have the anti d but no idea if he is A aswell, my hubby doesnt know his blood group.

I had to ask for mine, I'm A- so wanted to know what LO was, he's AB-, the rarest group! Turns out DH is AB+ which I didn't know until the MIL told us.

both hubby and i are O+ so i guess dd can only be O as O is officially OO

I only found out as my LO was in the neonatal unit, but also I'm Rh neg & so is DH so I knew he would be too & he is A neg!! I don't think it's the norm to know in the UK unless your baby needed bloods taken if you were Rh Neg, or there were some complications with the baby.
