If your in uk 8/9wk is 1st appt.

different countys in uk have different policies on when they listen to HB.Where i live they dont try until 24w. Some places 16w onwards. you'd need to ask your mw when you see her.

I'm in Ireland, first midwife appointment is 12 weeks.

I can't remember exactly, but my gp would listen for hb after about 14 weeks I think.

My first MW appointment is thursday, I'm seeing her for a chat about some of my worries and concerns but I think usually it's around eight weeks.
