When do you decide its CD1?

^ I agree with Suzan. I get brownish discharge for a while, could be a day - or it could be two to three days. I don't count CD1 until I see red blood.

The way I look at mine is If I have a brownish to red discharge, I call that my AF because on CD 2 the bitch is full of her vengence...

When I have red flow in the morning I count CD 1. If it starts in the evening I count the next day as CD 1.

I never thought about it, but that's what the CBFM said I should count so that's what I do :)

I usually sart midway through the day, so i count my first full day as CD1

I would count any bleeding/bloody discharge as CD1 as it means that your progesterone has dropped and is causing for your lining to breakdown however little it is, but with the evening/morning stuff Im not sure, its all very confusing

As soon as I see any type of pink/brown/red I call that CD1 even if its in the evening- but I do make myself kind of aware when due AF, I may be 1 or 2 days late.

For me CD1 is the day I have heavy red flow.
If it is at night, then that would be day 1. No matter when it happens.. it is always day 1.

This is right. The fertility clinics say that Day 1 of your cycle is the first day you see red blood and have full flow, regardless of what time of day it is (my mate who had to visit one told me this). I spot quite a bit before the full flow - so this current cycle finishes tomorrow on day 28 and the next one starts on Friday - usually, I'll start spotting now and then full flow hits Fri / Sat. x

but some woman have really light period so some don't have a full flow like other :)

Hi Miel, I think that's exactly my problem. My period only lasts three days and isn't heavy. I don't get any spotting. My warning is usually when I go to the loo and wipe, I see a change in colour on the tissue. Maybe two hours later I'll need to put a liner in but its the next day before I actually need a proper pad.

I dont get 'full flow' either so I counted from the first day of my 'fullest' flow.

Well reading all this- I now think I am saying I am 2 days more than I am- as soon as I c anythng I count that as CD1, so really now I am on CD14 not CD16.
Hmmmmmmmm.......:hi:

Cd1 for me is full blown.

The day before AF comes I get spotting ( mainly evening ), then next morning is always were it properly starts, so thats why I class it as cd1.

that's why i usually give Af a 2 day window to show up at the end of my cycles, and it hasn't been off schedule yet while i count it that way!
