I keep listening to my little sweeties heartbeat everyday but the only place I can find it is on top of my pubic bone… is this normal? xx

I'm 16+1 and baby is still just at the top of my pubic bone although my uterus has been up and out the pelvis for ages, so yes normal, when i had my 16 week midwife app she put the doppler just at the top of pubic bone and babys heartbeat was beating away so since she automatically looked there means baby should still be there x

the top of the uterus starts growing upward and out of the pelvic region about 12/13 weeks and the top is typically halfway b/t pubic bone and belly button at around 16 weeks. If the baby is head down (I think mine was my entire pregnancy) the heartbeat is usually low...at least that's where mine was found. I think the nurse may have found it close to my belly button when I was further along...like in weeks 30, but before that it was always below, and really low in those first 20 or so weeks.
