Hi ,
When can I expect teething in my preemies? From adjusted age or from birth? Reason is my dd has started to drool A LOT lately and she is 3 months old but only 1 1/2 adjusted, so got me wondering if it could be teeth soon or smth else.

Thanks :flower:

Prematurity has no bearing on when teeth come in I'm afraid, so it could be any time. It's all so different

Ah ok, maybe a tooth will pop up soon then. She's become even more difficult with her soother (never been great with them in the first place mind you), and got a white little spot on her lower gums but its not hard what I could feel. Don't know. But the drooling is EPIC lol!

My LO started the chewing and epic drooling at 3 months actual, he got his first tooth at 8 months! The 3 month drooling subsided fast. He is working on his 3rd tooth right now :)

You can expect teeth anytime, preemie or full-term. Some babies are born with teeth!! I think it's normal for babies to start drooling around 3 months. My LO is 4 months adjusted and is CONSTANTLY drooling!! I don't expect teeth for awhile yet though!
