when to start buying..

ive got the odd things which ive been given and bought, like blankets, and bathing stuff, And my mum bought me a travel system but for anything else me and my Oh decided to wait till 20 weeks as we want to get my house sorted first, The buy all the things as we have nowhere to keep them. I would have liked to start to buy things sooner but my Oh wants me to wait as he wants to help xx

I started after our gender scan. I still have a few more basic things to buy, but I am 99% done!

I waited til 20 weeks to start buying, but I suggest if you are planning on having a baby shower don't go too crazy with clothes shopping. I didn't even bother putting clothes on my registry knowing that's what people would get me the most of. I bought her maybe 2 outfits and after my shower she is set until she's in 9 months clothes

I'm 19 wks and would love to start buying things now!! but I'm going to wait until i'm 22 wks, because I did blood work 2 days ago to test for any birth defects and I'd like to wait until I get the results from that. I just want to hear that all is well with my princess just to feel at ease, then i'll buy little things.

Wow I feel insane now, I started buying when i was 4 weeks ! I know I have the space in my house, I am HUGELY organised and I do the same with everything else in life, I had 80% of my house stuff ready 6 months before we even started viewing houses and I am glad


I know the risk of heartbreak but if anything happened we'd try again so I know the stuff won't be wasted. We're buying the big stuff after the first scan at 12 weeks and my mum i sbuying me a bouncer, play gym and high chair after that too.. I know I'll always have bits and pieces to get so I'm not worried about being bored later on in pregnancy.
