When to start moisturising 'the bump'

I started the minute I got my BPF!! I used it religiously with my first, and didnt get any marks. Whether its coincidence or genetics..... I'm not risking it!! Xxx

Exoticsiren- That's a good point. I didn't even think of putting it on my boobs lol

I heard that you will either get them or not regardless of what you use. But your skin can get dry and it stops the itching too. Plus baby gets a nice massage!

Eek! I'm 13 weeks and haven't thought about it yet! Off to Boots tomorrow I think! Xx

You can even read it in medical places... stretch marks are genetic :) You can help prevent the severity of them and prevent the itching by having properly moisturized skin (try coconut oil too - pure virgin coconut oil) but despite what any creams or celebrities say... you can't prevent "inevitable" stretch marks.

Wear them as tiger stripes if you get them! You earned those badges of honor!

I started as soon as I got my BFP at 4 weeks xx

I started at 4weeks as well. I moisturize anyway but I started using coco butter now, I'm mostly worried about my hips, thighs and boobs.

I didn't moisturise until about 11 weeks and that was only because my skin became so itchy - my bump didn't even pop out properly until 14 weeks. I now do my boobs, belly, thighs and bum.

Oh yeah and my skin is perfectly fine.

I am 10 weeks with no bump so this makes me feel better...I was like where is my bump?? lol

**ALMOST 10 weeks, baby brain over here ;)

I have a week by week progression photo from 4 weeks - 15 weeks if you're interested. It didn't really pop until 14 weeks. I felt so silly taking photos in those first weeks but I'm glad I did now x

Well I am glad to know that it will take sometime. I am no skinny minny like you so it will probably take a bit longer for me anyway :)

You never know !
A lot of us are feeling first movements at 14-15 weeks too so you have that to look forward to as well. :)
