For the past couple of weeks I have had to wear my maternity pants for work. I can sill fit into my jeans because they are a little stretchy? I haven't broken down and started wearing some of my maternity shirts. I can still wear some but most of my work shirts are not fitting good now. I kept having to pull down my shirt today and yesterday to cover my belly. I am starting to show pretty good now. Is it weird to start wearing maternity stuff at 16 weeks? I almost need to now.

LOL, I started wearing maternity clothes at 8 weeks! My pants were already not fitting, it was CRAZY! Definietly not weird to start whenever you need to!

I don't think so. I've started to wear my maternity pants sometimes, mostly because they are more comfortable. Probably another 2 weeks and I will need to wear my maternity clothes all the time.

I wear my maternity clothes because they are more comfortable to me. I've been wearing them to work for about a week now.

I had trouble fitting into my jeans almost right away. By 10 weeks I had given up and bought a pair of maternity jeans. I am headed to a maternity shop tomorrow for more trousers. I am fine with the tops I have, but NO way on the bottoms.

I think by 11-12 weeks my jeans and suit pants were tight. I basically wore sweats for a little while. Then I bought a couple pairs of pants probably around 13-14 weeks and have been in them since. Whenever you need to start wearing them is when its right for you. Have fun shopping!!

You've done well to last so long in your normal clothes, lol. I had to start wearing materntiy trousers at 12 weeks, my normal trousers were just too uncomfy!!

When you think it's time to I suppose. For me, it was around 4 months. ;)
Best to be comfy ey!

I was just over 20 weeks when I first started. As Tilly said, It dosent matter when you need to start wearing them its entirely down to you, Every ones bump is different shapes and sizes and some need them earlier than others, its you that needs to be comfortable. X

A couple of weeks ago I bought some jeans two sizes bigger than usual.
I can't afford to go buying the maternity clothes so I'm going to 'diy' these jeans when I get a bit bigger.
I've also got a couple of maternity patterns that I might have a go at!
But I refuse to spend loads of money on clothes I'll only wear for a few months! :)

I think Ill be there in a week or so. The top button on my work pants wont do up, and my shirts wont fit around my boobs anymore! Ive started wearing those long baggy 'smock' tops or whatever theyre called coz they cover up the top of my trousers and they hide the bump. Sorted :D

I also started a thread very similar to this one recently :)

my GAP jeans have been history since 8 weeks.
I blame water retention!

It's not weird at all, I say wear whatever makes you comfortable hunny!

I tried on clothes that were a couple sizes bigger than what I normally wear, cause I was a little nervous to buy mat clothes at first. I personally looked ridiculous in them. I looked like I was drowning in them, like a little kid trying on their parents clothes. The mat clothes are great, because they fit to your normal size, with room for your bump to grow. Now I love shopping for the clothes. They are super comfy too!
