When to test?

I know its best to wait to see if missed or late period but its driving me mad atm. I have had spotting for 2 days on day 7&8 and today is 9DPO i have taken tests that i bought on ebay but both bfn i know im testing to early but not sure when i should wait to? period is due on tuesday
