I am new to this forum lark but thought it would be good to talk to others in the same situation as me...especially as my two best friends are already mothers, it is very difficult to talk to them about it!

I am 29 and was diagnosed with PCOS in 2005. I had to have a very large cyst removed from my left ovary but have a lot of cysts as well. Over the last 8 years since I came off Microgynon 30 (pill) which I was on from 15years old - 21years I have had strange menstruation.

They have been on and off with me mainly getting about 2-3 a year. At the beginning of 2010 I went on a diet as me and my partner were getting married in October 2010. I managed to lose 3 stone and am now approx 11 1/2 stone this seemed to help and I had about 5 periods last year. My last one was 28th October 2010 when we got back from honeymoon (that was lucky ) but have not had one since.

Got a docs appt booked for me and hubby on 13th May as we have not used contraception for the last 5 years and nothing!!

I have been charting my BTT for the last 5 weeks and it does make interesting reading.....apart from the fact that I have a very low temperature all the time which never goes over 35.86. I think I ovulated when it dropped to 35.41 and then spiked back up to 35.86 but am not Preggers yet

Hopefully by the time I see the doc in May I will have more of an idea about my ovulation, if I am at all.

Just want someone to chat to..who is going through something similar??
