When Will I get symptoms? Help!

Im 2 DPO and soo anxous...first cycle ttc, and having hot flashes and gas, cramps and tiredness. I just wanna know, when will i have symptoms? Are those symptoms!!!!??? And how can i pass this dreadful 2 weeks???? AF is due May 16th btw....

Hey Shannen,
I'm new to TTC too, so I'll just tell you what I think, but hopefully there's others better informed than me that can tell you!
The egg should implant anywhere between 6 and 12 days and you start having symptoms from the time of implantation. Having said that, I love to Symptom Spot from 1DPO! So I don't know. Everyone is different too remember so where one woman may experience symptoms from 5DPO, another may not until 4 weeks plus.
The symptoms you listed are definately early preg symptoms though! Hopefully this is your month hun!

I'm 6DPO and i haven't got any symptoms, which is probably not a good sign .
On one hand i've said right from the beginning that i wouldn't get too wound up during the 2ww and i'd try and forget about it until testing day, but atm it seems impossiable to think of anything else.

2 DPO is too early for it to be pregnancy symptoms as its impossible to get pregnancy symptoms until the egg has implanted, which happens 7-10 DPO.

Have you recently come off BCP or Implant? When I was on these, I never had any cramps etc after OV but having come off them now I have noticed that the natural surge in progesterone after OV causes a lot of 'symptoms' which are related to the presence of the hormone. For me, sore and heavy BBS is one which I never had after OV on BC.

Anything after about 6 DPO could be actual symptoms so keep a look out!

Oh I know Shannen! That's part of the problem! Like I said, I SS from day one, so they're probably all in my head! But I don't know if I imagined some pink on my TP yesterday when I wiped, but then nothing. I even put a pad on incase the witch was going to come. I've been having AF-like cramps since yesterday, I haven't noticed cramps before AF yet, so maybe it's a good sign!! Fingers X'd!!

Well i hope i'm one of those ladies who don't get symptoms!
I'm just doing my normal day to day things and keeping myself busy around the house. Between my daughter, OH and a naughty puppy its enough to keep my mind off it for 10 mins

After i wrote that i had no symptoms i got a sharp twinge in my left side, prob all in my head lol.

I stll get those twinges in my lower abdomen and AF like cramps but i think its just ovulation side effects now...STILL OPTIMISTIC!!

I'm not as tired today, which is good, but bad Ooh, one thing though - today I got a real bad metalic taste in my mouth which I thought was blood at first, but then it didn't taste like blood at all really, more like I was sucking on a coin or something. Anyone had that? Is it a good sign? Here's to hoping!!

With my first I had no symptoms till two weeks after AF was due. The only odd thing I noticed during those weeks before AF was due was my teeth were sore - but never thought that could be a BFP symptom. Today I am on day 1 DPO and I am like everyone else all I can do is think about symptoms and what if's...my DH and I decided to take our son on trip to Jamacia so I am going to fill the next two weeks with vacation planning...

No, i have that too and my AF isnt due another 2 weeks so yea, its not AF!! Good luck sweetie!

This sounds really positive having read other posts where ladies have reported lovely snot-like CM right before getting a BFP! I hope thats the case for you too!

I have had lots of lotiony-creamy CM today at 6DPO - I can only describe it as being like wallpaper paste in appearance and texture, and there were snot like bits in it urgghh!!! Its not an infection as its not off colour and its odourless - its just strange that I got an abundance of it today and thats unusual for me. I also had a massive temperature shift upwards this morning....not sure what thats about.

Anyways, good luck and hope its a BFP for you!

I think that most women actually do not get symptoms until right around AF time or even after that. It just so happens, those of us on this board are all symptom-spotters (which is why we're here) so it seems like most women do get symptoms. But even those that get them often (most?) times end up with a BFN. So I wouldn't worry about lack of symptoms.
