for a while i thought i had one at last,
but it ended up being fluid retention and now it's vanished.
my weight gain is perfect (according to doctor and WIC)
and baby is growing strong and healthy and beautifully (according to doctor)
so,
where is my bump? :(

everyone is different. i didnt get a 'bump' til i was like 22 weeks. it will come in time! appreciate the comfort while you have it. i can hardly do anything anymore, im that big! xx

hiding behind your strong abdo muscles... or you may have a posterior placenta...
don't worry it will come!! lol xx

some reason i got the giggle about this.
i actually have placenta previa right now,
i think thats right anyway.
when the placenta is down at the bottom?

I didn't get a proper bump until 26 weeks.
I was just bloating before then.
Don't worry, it will come soon enough, then when it does you will be cursing asking for a big uncomfy bump :haha:
x

at the moment you can sleep... wait till you cant lie on ur back, cos it feels like you have someone sitting on you, obv not your front, but the balancing act of trying to lie on your side :dohh: its hard :haha: xx

oof. lying on my back makes me feel awful already.
mum says it's because the weight of my uterus falls back even though it isn't far forward right now. i can't stand the lying on my side :p

balancing act, LOVE IT!!!!!

thats exactly how i feel right now hehe, can't lie on the sofa or anything without nearly falling off, ive never had great balance in the first place but being pregnant makes it a whole lot harder ... forget trying to stand on one leg, its impossible for me not to fall over anymore

I didnt have a bump til 20+ weeks with my son

You are still really early on, it's normal not to show until 6 or 7 months with a first baby. Everything is normal, it's just everyone is different.

everyone's bumps come at different times..
one minute your find yourself thinking where is my bump then the next your'l wake up one morning and bang itl be right there!x

I have placenta previa too! And I didn't really show proper until 22 weeks

I started to have a bump at around 24 weeks...but I left the "Is she pregnant or just fat?" phase around 27 weeks or so...but I agree with everyone else, enjoy it while you can..
It gets pretty bad when you're big...sucks to do basically everything!

Same as everyone else said, it's different for everyone :) have you been taking pictures of your tummy? I found that taking photos and comparing them over the weeks was really helpful, because even though I thought I wasn't getting a bump, it was just because it was growing only a little bit each day but when you look at the photos together you can see the gradual change over the weeks :) when you're struggling to turn over in bed at night, you know you have a great big bump :haha: xx

dont worry - im 27 weeks and still dont have a bump xx
