where has my colostrum gone?

For weeks and weeks now I have been producing colostrum, it often leaks when I have a bath and first thing on a morning. The last few days I started getting stabbing pains in my nipples, exactly like when your milk comes in, last night I squeezed the end of my niple when I got the pain and low and behold its squiring milk, it isnt yellow or thick and oozing like normal, its runny exactly like when your milk first comes in!!!! I cant understand, my baby isnt here.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal? I breastfed DS 4yrs ago and I had loads of milk, it took almost a year for me to stop producing!! xx

I had that (oh i hate that hot needle stabbing pains!! i remember them well lol) and milk came out i was like .. wtf .. next day went back to clear .. not done same since (this was last week i think)

I wouldnt worry to much, as long as you are producing something. With baby being due soon maybe its a sign your almost ready to have baby and milk will go back to colostrum as baby arrives
