Where is baby located at 10-11 weeks?

Anyone know whereabouts baby is located at 10-11 weeks? I was looking for baby's heart beat on my doppler and it took me forever today, finally I tried higher (say 3/4 up towards my bellybutton) and finally found the heartbeat there.
Seems a little high up for 10-11 weeks no?

Everyone is different, especially if you've had kids before. I am 8 weeks and can feel my uterus just above my pubic bone...and yes I know its really there because I found the heartbeat.

Your uterus is above the pubic bone when not pregnant, as far as I am aware, it just comes FORWARD at first. If you look at any side on diagram of the internal organs in a woman, the uterus rests on the back of the bladder. So certainly can be felt at your gestation, I felt my fundus pretty early on with Sophie
