where to buy RTL from

Got mine from Holland & Barretts, you can try them online I think x

Yeah I got mine from Holland and Barrett. Delivery is about £3 I think so stock up by buying a few boxes if you go online.

Oooh damn it! Sure it was more when I got mine :( sods law!

I got the capsules from H&B and u can actually use these for tea as well! It says on the back if u empty one capsule's contents and add hot water = 1 normal cup of RLT! x

I'm considering buying these but not sure if I'd drink it lol whats the taste like? :flower:

how far gone should you be before you start taking the capsules??

Evening primrose oil I think.

In terms of taste, I personally think it tasted pretty gross without a spoonful of sugar but I'm not into herbal teas. With sugar, it tastes of warm ribena to me.

What does it do? 32 Weeks sounds early.
What's EPO?

No idea what EPO is. But the tea supposedly tones the uterine muscles and makes the second stage of labour quicker.

I drank it with my first son for the 6 weeks before he was due and had a fairly quick natural birth so am drinking again this time. I started last week at 31 weeks, 2 cups a day and will go up to cups a day from 36 weeks x

Im gutted i cant take these :( as had previous section & early delivery :(

Babycentre.co.uk reccommends starting RTL from 32weeks... it doesn't work to induce labour, it strengthens the uterus thus making 1st & 2nd labour stages quicker. It suggests taking them from 32weeks as it takes a while to work into your system, so starting them later on won't have as much of an effect  so I've been taking them from 32wks, and upped my capsules to twice a day at 34wks!

vaniilla - haven't tried it as tea YET... normal tea makes me heave  so I'm worried it'll taste similar :haha: might try and brave it tho as someone told me that tea is actually stronger and more effective!!

EPO is evening primrose oil! It's suggested to start taking these from 36wks, and apparently u can insert them vaginally too! x

yes just read on googley that its to help soften the cervix
