Which formula do you all use??

Started off on Aptamil 1, then went onto number 2, but Jack was never quite right on it, so now he is on Cow & Gate 2 for hungrier babies. Ingredients are more or less the same as Aptamil, but there is fish something or other in Aptamil which I found strange?!?

That's Omega and is supposedly good for baby's brain and development.

Ahh makes sense - (just found an old tub hubby keeps for putting nails in or something ) - listed in ingredients as fish oil, but at the very bottom where I looked, it just says fish - didn't think of that - thanks

I breastfed till Toby was 9months....he's 10months now and I've been using Hipp Organic Follow-On milk. I wanted to choose an organic milk....this just happens to be one of the cheaper ones too

i bf jack till he was 10 months he then developed an intolerence to lactose so now at 2 years old he's still on sma wysoy

Can he have normal soy milk now? (mind you, you probably get it on prescription don't you so it'll be free? )

Have they checked if he's still lactose intolerant coz loads of babies grow out of it

A couple of my friends have babies with a lactose intolerance....one has grown out of it but the other's intolerance seems to be more severe and the Dr doubts he'll grow out of it

I'm using aptamil 1 ready to use.. the formula was abit rich and Tom didn't seem to get on with it

When Moira was born I mix fed, I had a difficult birth, and the hospital gave us SMA, but I soon found she was struggling to poo. I asked the docs and healthvisitors, but not much help, as they don't like us using Formula, so not very sympathetic. Thanks to a forum, I switched formula, started with Aptamil Easydigest, and I never looked back, poo back to normal. Now I decided to switch to Aptamil 1, as I wanted Moira to get used to normal milk before weaning, and again, no problem. For me, Aptamil has been fantastic.

Started Jack on Aptamil 1 and now feed him Aptamil 2.

Enfamil,she loves it and I didn't have problems with it.

Enfamil A+ and I now switched to Enfamil A+ Gentlease to help with gas reduction, so I hope it works.

The_hug, you said you switched to Aptamil 2 from 1, how did you baby take it, I am thinking to do this, mine is now 6 months old, when did you switch yours? or whoever has done that switch?

I plan to BF this time. I had medical issues where I could no BF the previous PG's so I have a whole list of what I have used in order are infamil (sp), similac, and then similac again and goodstart I see you are in UK so maybe you do not have any of these there. I read that they are all basically made the same way, even store brands here in the states have strict standards. UK would be the same yes?

Aptimal Easy digest.....tried SMA GOLD- NIGHTMARE!! so midwife said switch to aptimal. Aptimal 1 was a lil heavy for him so he on aptimal easy digest (even more expensive than aptimal ) but he's worth every penny Hopefully in a few weeks be able to go on aptimal 1, as because his milk easy digest he feeding every 2 hours as it goes through him so quick but midwife said its fine. Will get him used to the milk before he goes onto stage 1 XxX

He didn't like it at first, but now settles better on that than the other one. I switched when he was about 3 weeks old as he just didn't seem satisfied with the other one. Its supposed to delay early weaning or so it says on the box.
