Which formula to wean BF baby.

Thanks ladies. Had no idea formula was pretty much the same. I was on some formula websites and a few were marketing ones that were "close to breast milk." I wanted to get a feel of what was out there...

Yep they all have the same basic ingredients unless you're talking specialist formulas such as for those with allergies, anything else is just a marketing claim :) . Unless your LO has a proven lactose intolerance there is no need to use any type of specialist formula xx

Similac sensitive is for lactose intolerance. There are soy formulas that are lactose free, if your lo cant have lactose at all.

Do you have the same brands that the US has? (Similac, Enfamil and Gerber?)

If so, I HIGHLY recommend starting with Gerber Good Start. I did a TON of research on those 3 formula brands and they're all the same nutritionally (meaning have basically the same added vitamins and minerals) but actually ingredients DO differ, a lot actually. I chose Gerber because it's made with whey protien and the other 2 brands have corn syrup solids and a bunch of different oils right at the top of the ingredient list :p. Gerber seemed like the best option to me.

Yes, we have the same brands as you guys!

That's interesting about Gerber because my oldest was on Enfamil and it was made from corn syrup solids, I thought that was terrible! But I didn't know I had another choice.

Yep, look up Gerber's website, you can see the ingredient list.
